Who We Are
Birkert Technology LLC is a Dallas-based software company founded by a husband-and-wife team with direct experience in healthcare operations, technology, and compliance. We are a pre-launch company building AuditVault — purpose-built healthcare compliance software for small and mid-size medical practices.
We are not a large software company with a compliance module bolted onto an EHR. We are not a consulting firm repackaging spreadsheets as software. We are building a focused, opinionated compliance platform designed specifically for the practice administrator, office manager, or physician-owner who needs a complete compliance program they can actually run — without a dedicated compliance department.
Why We Are Building This
The healthcare compliance software market has a gap. Enterprise GRC platforms are built for hospital systems. Basic HIPAA template libraries are insufficient for real compliance programs. The practices in the middle — the 5 to 300 employee medical practices that make up the majority of US healthcare delivery — are underserved.
These practices face the same federal and state compliance obligations as large health systems. They face the same OCR investigations, the same OIG enforcement, the same consequences for non-compliance. But they don't have the resources to implement enterprise compliance infrastructure — and they shouldn't have to.
AuditVault closes that gap. A complete compliance platform — HIPAA, OIG, Texas HB 300, and more — sized for small practices, priced as a flat monthly subscription, and designed for the person running the practice, not for a compliance department that doesn't exist.
Our Approach
We believe compliance software should generate documentation automatically as a byproduct of use — not require staff to manually maintain separate records. We believe pricing should be flat and predictable, not per-user fees that penalize growth. We believe a small practice in Dallas should have access to the same quality of compliance infrastructure as a 500-bed hospital system — at a price that reflects their reality.
